Rushing sleepiness in me while in bed,
Tired and possibly numb of thought, I sigh,
Into my mind is the Sandman's dust fed,
Fatigue in me, I wish to sleep to fly,
Dreaming of the ability to dream,
Ponderings come of what I will vision,
Journeys throughout the clouds, romantic's theme,
Wondering what of mind will incision,
My heartbeat slows and I begin yawning,
Resting feels like a dessert, delicious,
Muscles relax as I slip unconscious,
I wish to rest until sun's dawning,
Miniscule problems of the mind disperse,
As I slip to slumber, ever un-terse.
